The Directrice Johanna Korthals Altes was born in the Provence region from dutch parents. Speaking 5 languages and evolving between different cultures, that is how she made her first steps in the international substitution. After sparkling studies in Paris, irreplaceable city, her first mission for AIR was to replace the french poet Olivia Rosenthal for the city of Paris’ Nuits Blanches in 2007. Her permanent interest for landscape design, sociology, architecture, dance and fine arts has guided her all naturally to ask Alain to join her in the foundation of very the first International Substitution Agency. Confronted to the impossibility that human beings have to be on 2 continents at the same time, she decided to commit herself totally in an po-ethical and disruptive way in order to give everyone that special something. The General Secretary, Alain Gintzburger was born in the French Champagne region, or more precisely in champagne. This is how he started his first substitutions. After having replaced his father and his best friend, he started to make sparkling studies in a irreplaceable city, Paris. His permanent interest in marketing, theater, psychoanalysis and fine arts has guided him all naturally to join Johanna in the foundation of the very first International Substitution Agency. Confronted to the impossibility that human beings have to be in 2 places at the same time, he has decided to commit himself totally in an ethical and creative way in order to give everyone that special something.
